Volkswagen driver nearly causes accident after jamming on brakes and reversing along Brickland Road, police investigating
A Volkswagen driver almost caused an accident after jamming on his brakes and reversing along Brickland Road on May 29 at about 9pm.
A Stomper shared clips of the harrowing encounter and said the other driver's behaviour was unprovoked.
"When he cut into my lane, he did not give ample time to signal so I high-beamed him," said the Stomper.
"He jammed on his brakes and attempted to reverse.
"I ignored him and went to the left but he abruptly cut into my lane, jammed on his brakes and reversed again which caused me to swerve and nearly mount the centre road divider."
The Stomper made a police report following the encounter.
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
