Video shows boy's shoe getting stuck on escalator in Lucky Plaza and man trying to pull him off
A boy couldn't step off an escalator when one of his shoes got stuck and it was all caught on video.
Stomper Saimarn alerted Stomp to the video he posted online on Feb 24 with the subtitle "Be careful on the escalator with children."
The video shows the bespectacled boy on the escalator going up from the ground floor with a man and another boy in Lucky Plaza.
When they reached the next level, the bespectacled boy tried to step off the escalator, but he could not lift his left foot.

He could be heard saying: "My shoe is stuck."
The man turned back and desperately tried to pull the boy off the escalator to no avail.

The person with the head-mounted camera taking the video was behind the boy and quickly stepped forward to press the button at the side of the escalator to stop it from moving.

Another man also came to assist. Someone suggested the boy remove his foot from the shoe and that was how the boy got free with the footwear still stuck on the escalator.

"Children are clumsy," commented the Stomper.
This is the third reported incident of a child getting his or her footwear stuck in a mall escalator in 10 days.
On Feb 22, a girl's left foot was trapped at the side of an escalator at Sengkang Grand Mall.
On Feb 15, a girl's sandal got stuck in an escalator at Thomson Plaza.
