Vehicles carefully go around GetGo car left in the middle of Sembawang Road junction
A GetGo car was seemingly abandoned in the middle of the junction of Sembawang Road and Gambas Avenue Junction on the evening of Jan 20.
Stomp understands that the car had broken down and the driver was waiting for a tow truck.
Stomper Fab shared a TikTok video of the car taken at 10.30pm, describing the car as abandoned.
Vehicles at the busy traffic junction had to carefully avoid the GetGo car by going around it. At least it had its hazard lights on.
In response to a Stomp query, a GetGo spokesman said: "GetGo is aware of this incident, and as this is an ongoing investigation, we're unable to make any comments.”
This was the second incident involving a GetGo car at a junction in the area in a week. On Jan 13, a GetGo car crashed into the side of a bus at the junction of Yishun Avenue 2 and Yishun Central at about 10.55pm, killing the car driver.
