A van was caught on camera tailgating a motorcycle out of a Jurong West Street 93 carpark on Aug 5.

What made it worse was the van then rear-ended the bike.

Stomper Charlotte, who was riding the motorcycle, shared videos of the incident, one of which initially shows the black Mercedez-Benz Vito van reversing back into the carpark.

"The male driver of van was unable to exit the carpark, tailgated my motorcycle to exit but unable to stop in time and caused an accident," recounted the Stomper.

Another video shows the van following the Stomper closely behind as she exited the carpark such that the van was almost hit by the carpark barrier coming down.

As the Stomper obeyed the stop sign by waiting before turning into the main road, the van continued to drive forward to avoid the carpark barrier and ended up hitting the motorcycle.

"He made no move to exit his vehicle," said the Stomper. "Typically, in an accident, you don't move the vehicle an inch to take pics. He didn't want to. I had to get off my bike and confront him."

In a third video, the van driver can be heard scolding the Stomper with vulgarities: "You better listen to your f***ing tone. You're f***ing loud."

He later said: "You didn't die what. Did you die?"

After more arguing, the man told the Stomper to share her particulars. He can then be seen taking photos of the motorcycle while the van was parked on the side of the road before the video ends.

The Stomper said the driver bullied her and he claimed the accident was no big deal since she "didn't die what'".

She added that he didn't want to pay her $50 for the damaged number plate and plate holder to settle the matter on the spot as she could not provide a receipt.

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged and said they are looking into the matter.
