Anyone knows what these 'alien looking fruits' growing under tree in Kovan are?

​Stomper Lau Lap was near Heartland Mall in Kovan on June 10 when he saw peculiar looking fruits growing on a shrub under a tree.

In a telephone interview, Lau Lap told Stomp that the green-coloured fruits have depressions that resembled craters all around.

They also had a slightly unpleasant smell.

Said the Stomper:

"The fruits looked very unusual. I wonder if they are edible."

"Hope readers can enlighten me about the fruits."
