Two SBS Transit buses were involved in a collision at Sengkang Bus Interchange on June 17.

Stomper WJ, a bus enthusiast, told Stomp he had gone down to the interchange specifically to ride the new BYD model deployed for bus service 371 when he came across the aftermath of the incident.

He shared photos of the two buses forming a V.

"I think due to the mirrorless design of the BYD model, the bus captain was unable to check his blind spot," he said.

In response to a Stomp query, SBS Transit spokesperson Mrs Grace Wu said: "The incident happened on June 17 at the Sengkang Bus Interchange.

"There were no passengers onboard and no one, including our Bus Captains, was injured.

"Meanwhile, we are looking into the cause of the incident."
