Truck catches fire on SLE towards CTE
A truck caught fire along Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Wednesday afternoon (July 14).
Stomper Watson shared a circulated photo showing firefighters at the scene.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the fire along the SLE towards the Central Expressway (CTE), before Woodlands Avenue 2, at around 3.05pm.
The fire, which involved the truck's engine compartment, was extinguished by SCDF using a hose reel and a water jet.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
