Tree uprooted by heavy rain falls onto parked cars at Punggol Park
A tree was uprooted and fell onto two parked cars in front of Tenderfresh Makcik Tuckshop at Punggol Park on Jan 12 at about 12pm.
Stomper Steven was in the area and shared photos of the tree lying on top of a silver Peugeot and a black Toyota.
The incident occurred during a bout of heavy rain.
"I just thought it was very lucky nobody was inside the cars and wondered if the drivers and passengers were exercising in the park or eating at Tenderfresh," said Steven.
"It was raining so I went back and didn't manage to see who cleared the tree," said Steven.

"However, when I returned to the area today (Jan 13), it was cleared."
Singapore has been experiencing incessant rain that began early on Jan 10 and continued well into Jan 12.
National Water Agency PUB said the rainy weather is expected to persist until Jan 13.
The unseasonably wet weather is the product of a monsoon surge - a sudden increase in wind speeds that causes cold air to rush southwards in the South China Sea.
