A passer-by was concerned to hear a loud scream at Tanjong Pagar Community Club on the evening of Nov 1.

Stomper Gurkha was afraid that a child had been hurt as a Halloween event was being held at the CC at the time.

The event was called the Forest of Horrors.

"Face the haunted maze, ride the Train of Terror, play spooky games and uncover more frightful surprises lurking in the dark," posted the Tanjong Pagar CC on social media to promote the event.

The Stomper shared a photo of the so-called Train of Terror taken on the afternoon before the event.

At around 7pm, the Stomper was in the area.

"I heard a loud scream after the kiddy train started moving. I'm not sure what happened, but it was in the Tanjong Pagar CC carpark," he said.

"An ambulance arrived minutes later. Hopefully, it was not a kid who got injured."

The Stomper shared photos of the mini train in the carpark and an ambulance near the entrance.

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for assistance near 101 Cantonment Road, which is the address of the CC, at around 7.15pm.

One person was taken to Singapore General Hospital.

Stomp has contacted Tanjong Pagar CC for more info.
