Toyota cuts across 2 lanes, sideswipes motorcyclist and sends him tumbling on CTE
A 35-year-old male motorcyclist was sent rolling on the road after being hit by a car on the Central Expressway towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway.
Stomper Lau Lau alerted Stomp to a Facebook video showing a collision between a white Toyota Raize and a motorcyclist that occurred on April 5, where the car can be seen rapidly cutting across two lanes.
The car then drives into the lane of the motorcyclist, sideswiping his motorcycle and sending him tumbling to the road divider.
Following a Stomp query, the police confirmed that they were alerted to the accident at 7.20am.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital conscious.
A 60-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing investigations.
Facebook users were quick to criticise the driver's negligence with one user in particular commenting: "Driver gave absolutely no f***s about checking blind spot and changing lane ethics."
