In 2022, the Stomper had a similar bad experience with a tourist from Singapore who abandoned a rented motorcycle after getting into an accident with a car.

She told Stomp: "I have two children and we have to eat from the money we earn from this business. Now our bike is broken. If he cannot pay for the repair of the bike, it will make our life harder because we have to borrow money and we have no business until the bike is repaired."

The tourist told Stomp he left 100,000 rupiah (S$9) at a Bali hotel to give to the Stomper before returning to Singapore.
