Topless jogger runs on road instead of pavement, allegedly flashes middle finger at driver
A driver was puzzled to see a jogger running along a busy road instead of using the pavement on Feb 22.
Stomper Dy said the jogger responded with a rude gesture when alerted about safety.
He shared a video of the incident that occurred at about 8.30am along Neil Road, near Everton Park and in front of the Central Police Division Headquarters.
According to Dy, he was driving on the leftmost lane when he spotted a topless jogger running on the road near a bus stop.
This was even though there was oncoming traffic and a "wide enough pavement" beside the jogger.
As he approached, Dy said he flashed his headlights to "warn" the jogger: "I was hoping he could be reminded to move up the pavement, where it would be safer."
However, the jogger allegedly reacted with a rude gesture instead.
"He showed his middle finger and persisted in running on the road," said Dy, adding that he had to steer closer to the middle lane to avoid the man.
"I just couldn't understand why he felt he was right or thought he had the right of way."
Dy also suggested that the jogger had broken the law by flashing his middle finger.

Under Section 377BA of the Penal Code, words or gestures intended to insult a person's modesty may be punishable with a fine, imprisonment of up to one year, or both.
Dy told Stomp: "We must publicise this unwarranted behaviour in our civil society to discourage self-entitled users of the road."
