To ease food delivery, Marina Bay Financial Centre to extend grace period for motorcycle parking to 20 min
Ten more minutes.
Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) will extend the grace period for motorcycle parking in its carpark from 10 to 20 minutes, starting from July 30.
This comes after Stomp reported on July 25 that due to the lack of designated motorcycle parking spaces, several food delivery riders were issued summons on July 23, according to Stomper JY, who delivers for Foodpanda.

"At Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3 (MBFC3), the evening peak hours see a high volume of food delivery orders," he explained.
"We cannot avoid delivering to MBFC3, but the current parking situation is causing us considerable stress."
The Stomper urged the Land Transport Authority, MBFC management and Foodpanda to address this issue quickly.

In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Raffles Quay Asset Management, which manages MBFC, said: "We appreciate Stomper JY for bringing this issue to our attention.
"We are committed to making Marina Bay Financial Centre accessible and convenient for everyone."
The spokesperson pointed out that there are sufficient parking lots for motorcycles in the MBFC carpark.
The spokesperson also added: "Recognising the challenges faced by food delivery riders, we will be increasing the grace period for motorcycle parking from 10 to 20 minutes, effective July 30."
