Lorry smashes into road divider along CTE towards PIE

A lorry driver was involved in an accident after crashing through a road divider along the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) yesterday afternoon (July 24).

A video contributed by Stomper Spencer shows the truck with its container dislodged and authorities at the scene.

Spencer said:

"It looked quite bad. The driver was not around but further up, an ambulance was stopped on the chevron markings."

In response to a Stomp query, the Police said that they were alerted to the incident at 3.33pm.

No injuries were reported.

Police investigations are ongoing.
