Teen arrested for aggravated outrage of modesty at Boon Lay Place

A 17-year-old teenager was arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of aggravated outrage of modesty, the police said in a statement on Friday night (Apr 22).
On Apr 21 at about 11.50pm, the police received a report from a victim who reported she was molested by an unknown man while she was inside a lift of a block in Boon Lay Place.
Officers established the identity of the man and arrested him on Apr 22.
The offence of aggravated outrage of modesty carries a jail term of between two to 10 years with caning.
