Stomper says otters wandering around Ang Mo Kio ‘very scared, like they were looking for their babies’
Two otters were spotted out and about at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 in the early hours of March 30.
Stomper Zackeus shared videos of the sighting taken at around 12.20am.
In the videos, the otters can be seen jumping down from the pedestrian pavement onto the road. They are later seen moving into an open carpark lot before going towards an HDB block.
It was the first time Zackeus spotted the otters in the area.
He described most passers-by as “shocked and intrigued” by the sighting, while some were wary of their presence.
Zackeus also noted that the otters “looked very scared” and suggested that they may have been on a bigger mission.
“Like they were looking for their babies, crossing down the main roads and everything,” the Stomper added.
