A BMW X1 driver was caught on camera driving dangerously after being honked at by another car at Marine Parade Road on July 9.

Stomper Eddy, who was the driver of the other car, shared dashcam footage of the incident.

At 1.17pm, the Stomper had stopped behind the BMW at the traffic light junction of Marine Parade Road and Siglap Road.

After the light turned green, the Stomper moved from the leftmost lane to the centre lane and the BMW intended to do the same.

"The driver couldn't stay in his own lane, so I honked to alert him," said the Stomper.

"Instead of moving into his own lane, he tried to sideswipe me. He chased me down and cut in dangerously several times, trying to cause an accident."

This went on until the Marine Terrace junction where the BMW crossed a double white line to cut into Stomper's lane, but the Stomper turned left and avoided the BMW.

And that is how the video ends.
