Stomper hears 'loud bam' at 5.30am, man found dead at foot of Jurong West block

A body of a 44-year-old man was found at the foot of Block 639 Jurong West Street 61 on the morning of Dec 3.

Stomper RY said he heard a "loud bam" at about 5.30am.

"The police and an ambulance came shortly after," said the Stomper, who shared a photo of a blue tent behind a police cordon at the block.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a case of fall from height at about 5.30am.

The man was found motionless and pronounced dead at scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police said they do not suspect foul play.

Investigations are ongoing.
