Stomper ends up with no food after GrabFood deliveryman leaves his KFC order outside shopping mall
A man was looking forward to indulging in some fried chicken but when it came time to collect his order, it was gone.
Stomper Vicky told Stomp that he ordered food from Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) via GrabFood on Jan 20 at about 4.45pm.
"The GrabFood delivery rider placed my meal outside Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, near the public walkway and took a picture as proof that it was delivered," said the Stomper.
"Please educate delivery riders that meals cannot be placed anywhere.
"It was not a housing doorway, my order was placed outside the shopping mall.
"When I arrived at the location, the food was gone.
"I hope the delivery rider pays for such an act.
"Because of him, we put many good delivery guys in a bad light."
Vicky added that he has reported the incident to Grab.
Stomp has reached out to Grab for comment.
In an earlier Stomp report, another Grab deliveryman left a customer's order at a void deck only for the food to disappear 'within a minute'.
