Customer calls out McDonald's for being 'stingy' with sauce in curry chicken wrap
The McDonald's Curry Chicken Wrap is shown dripping with sauce in its advertisements, but that doesn't appear to be the case in reality.
Stomper Allan ordered the item from McDonald's United Square branch and was disappointed by how little curry there was in his wrap.
He shared photos of his food with what he described as a "stingy" amount of sauce.
"McDonald's Singapore, advertisement vs reality. 😂 Where's the curry sauce? You need to pay extra to buy the sauce yourself and top it up, is it?" Allan asked.
"So little sauce compared to their advertisement. If curry sauce is the selling point for this product, why are they so stingy?"
When contacted by Stomp, a McDonald's spokesperson declined to comment on the matter.
Available only during breakfast hours, the Curry Chicken Wrap comes with "crispy chicken patty, golden hash brown, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty cheese in every bite".
Advertisements on McDonald's Singapore's social media pages describe the wrap as being "drizzled" and "coated" in its signature curry sauce.
