LTA and police nab over 25 cyclists riding in groups larger than allowed in Clementi, West Coast
More than 25 cyclists were caught riding in groups larger than permitted along Clementi Road and West Coast Highway on May 25.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said in a Facebook post that its active mobility enforcement officers and the Traffic Police were conducting its latest round of enforcement operations against errant cyclists in the area that morning.

This comes after about 20 cyclists were caught for offences including riding in a group size larger than 10 and riding non-compliant devices over two weeks at the end of April.

Stompers have previously shared photos and videos of such groups of cyclists.
It is an offence to cycle on roads in groups larger than five cyclists in a single file, or 10 cyclists riding two abreast. Groups should also keep a minimum distance of 30m, or two lamp posts, between one another.
Cyclists should also ensure that their devices comply with existing requirements.
