A female motorcyclist was taken to hospital following an accident caused by spilled gravel on the Central Expressway (CTE) at night on March 18.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 8.25pm.
A motorcycle was believed to have self-skidded along the expressway.
A 24-year-old female motorcyclist was conscious when taken to hospital, a police spokesperson.
According to a Facebook post by ROADS.sg, gravel from a tipper truck had spilled on the highway, causing the motorcyclist to crash.
The video posted shows the gravel spilled on the expressway, with a motorcyclist standing in the middle of the road. Soon after, another motorcyclist can be seen falling on the gravel and skidding a few metres away.
In the footage, motorists honked and flashed their hazard lights to warn others of the scattered gravel.
A tipper truck apparently carrying gravel can be seen parked further down on the side of the expressway with its hazard lights switched on.
Police investigations are ongoing.
