Spectacular view of Mars and Saturn in conjunction light up the sky
Stomper Kannan was excited to see the Mars and Saturn in conjunction on early Monday morning (April 2).
He managed to take some photos of the astrological phenomenon and sent them to Stomp.
According to EarthSky, Mars passes 1.3 degrees south of Saturn, and the two colourful celestial gem will fit within the same binocular field for another week or so before separating again.
With the conjunction of the two celestial bodies, Antares, a star in the constellation of Scorpio has also become exceptionally bright and red.
Said Kanna:
"Antares, also known as the heat of Scorpio helps us see the phenomenon more clearly."
