Spectacular photos of Harvest Moon taken by Woodlands resident
Stomper Kannan captured some amazing shots of a full moon from his home in Woodlands last night (Sep 5).
The full moon captured during the autumn equinox is known as the Harvest Moon.
This occurred during the Mid-Autumn Festival, when those who celebrate reunite with their families, fly lanterns, worship the moon, and enjoy mooncakes, among other things.
Harvest Moons are different from full moons as the moonrise and sunset timings are close to each other for several evenings.
