Sound of rope hitting window wakes Bendemeer resident up at 4am

Stomper Alan was sleeping at 4am when he was awoken by the sound of a rope hitting against his window.

The incident happened on Nov 6 at his Bendemeer Light flat.

In a telephone interview, the Stomper told us that this had been happening for the past week. He added, "The banging noise of the rope hitting against the window happens throughout the night. It always starts past midnight."

While it is not a daily occurrence, he says that this is the second time that this has happened in the past two days.

He suspected that it could be workers painting the block.
