SMRT bus damaged in accident near Admiralty MRT station, driver assisting with police investigations

An SMRT bus was damaged in an accident near Admiralty MRT station on the evening of Sept 11.

Stomper Johan shared photos of the off-service bus with a hole in its rear left bumper where a tail light was supposed to be.

Traffic Police were at the scene with a green SMRT recovery vehicle arriving later.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said that they were alerted to the accident at about 6.45pm.

The bus was believed to have self-skidded along Woodlands Avenue 7 towards Woodlands Square. No injuries were reported.

The 61-year-old male bus driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
