Silver Cab taxi crashes into road sign, car rams into its back along Ayer Rajah Ave
A Silver Cab taxi and a white car were involved in an accident at a junction of North Buona Vista Road and Ayer Rajah Avenue today (Aug 15).
The incident happened at around 9.30am, and Stomper Jeffrey who was driving past, took a video.
He subsequently forwarded the video to Stomp.
In the video, the cab could be seen, having crashed into a road sign, while the white car rammed into the taxi's back.
Both vehicles were visibly damaged.
Said Jeffrey:
"I think it must be the rain.
"The roads are slippery then."
The police have issued an official statement on the accident:
"On Aug 15, 2017, the police were alerted to an accident involving a taxi and a car at a junction of North Buona Vista Road and Ayer Rajah Avenue.
"A 28-year-old male driver was conscious when conveyed to National University Hospital (NUH).
"Police investigations are ongoing."
