The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has directed Cold Storage to recall a flour product from the United States due to a possible bacteria contamination.

The agency said in a statement on Monday (Oct 7) that consumers who have bought the King Arthur Flour Unbleached All-Purpose Flour should not consume it.

It noted that the US Food and Drug Administration published an alert on the recall of the product due to the potential presence of the E. coli O26 bacteria.

Cold Storage is the sole importer of the implicated product.

The recall has been completed.

Consumers may contact Cold Storage at 1800 9818 100 for enquiries or to exchange the product.
