The Singapore Civil Defence Force were called in after someone got their leg trapped along a walkway at Amara Hotel on Sunday (Mar 12).

Stomper David alerted Stomp to the incident and shared a video of SCDF vehicles at the scene.

In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they received a call for assistance at 165 Tanjong Pagar Road at about 5.05pm.

"Upon SCDF's arrival, a person was found seating on the floor with the right leg trapped in between a gap along a walkway," said an SCDF spokesman.

"The person sustained abrasions on the right knee and swelling on the left knee."

The person refused to be taken to hospital.
