Scammer tries to cheat woman out of $1,800 by posing as Li Nanxing
A scammer allegedly created a fake Instagram page posing as local actor Li Nanxing and tried to cheat a female fan out of $1,800.
The 53-year-old artiste shared screenshots on his Facebook page on May 24, showing how an Instagram follower had warned him of the fake account impersonating him.

"Thank you very much to this fan! Here is our conversation, I would like to clarify again that @lnxglobal_personal is not my account, everyone please be careful!" wrote Li, whose official Instagram page is @lnxglobal_official.
Li's manager told Shin Min Daily News in a report on May 26 that the scammer had tried to borrow $1,800 from a fan.
"Luckily the female fan was alert and felt that it was suspicious for Li Nanxing to be borrowing money from her," she said.
"She asked the person: 'If you are Li Nanxing, take a video for me.'
"This scared the person off."
The fake Instagram page, a private account, is still active as of today (May 28), with four posts and 63 followers.
