Rubbish truck catches fire in Jurong West
A rubbish truck caught fire near Block 441 Jurong West Avenue 1 on May 14.
Stomper Grace alerted Stomp to a video showing flames at the back of the vehicle and firefighters arriving to put out the fire.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire at about 12:45pm.
The fire, involving the contents in the rear compartment of the rubbish truck, was extinguished using a water jet.
There were no reported injuries.
SCDF added that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
