A resident has expressed concern over clutter that has been left along the lift lobby corridor at Block 206 Serangoon Central since Oct 20.

Stomper Des told Stomp that despite giving feedback to the town council, the clutter remains as of Nov 3.

He also shared a video on Nov 4 showing his neighbour adding more items to the pile.

In response to a Stomp query, a Marine Parade-Braddell Heights Town Council spokesperson said it was aware of the situation and has been engaging the resident involved to reduce the items placed along the common corridor.

The spokesperson said: "Our officers have been in contact with the unit since Aug 2025, when the resident made some effort to clear the clutter following our engagement. More recently, we have reached out again to reinforce the importance of keeping common areas safe and unobstructed.

"As part of our ongoing commitment to maintain a clean and safe environment, we will be conducting a block-wide decluttering exercise in mid-Nov 2025 at Block 206.

"We will continue to monitor the situation closely and work with residents to create a safer and more comfortable living environment. We also encourage all residents to play their part by reducing clutter and removing obstructions from shared spaces."
