Red paint balls thrown near judge's table at lion dance competition outside Ngee Ann City
Did someone owe a loan shark money?
Two paint balls were thrown near a judge's table at the Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships on Sept 6 evening.
Stomper Wei Sien shared photos of two large red splatters on the tiled floor in the Civic Plaza outside the mall. A judge was seated at a table metres away.

"I was watching the lion dance competition and when I turned around, I saw audience members moving their seats," recounted the Stomper.
"Something had happened. When I stood up, I saw the red paint already on the floor."
A video of the paint splatter was posted on YouTube.
The competition was not interrupted as the incident happened at the side away from centre stage where the performances were taking place.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at 391A Orchard Road at about 8.55pm.
No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.

Organised by the Singapore Wushu Dragon & Lion Dance Federation and People's Association, the 28th Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships were held from Sept 2 to 7.
