Recycling truck catches fire near Marina Bay MRT Station
A recycling truck burst into flames at the junction of Central Boulevard and Sheares Avenue on Mar 2.
Stomper AT alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the vehicle on fire he took at about 12.30pm.
"The truck was on fire outside a condo showroom beside Marina Bay MRT Station," he said.
Another Stomper shared footage of the burning truck and plumes of smoke rising into the air.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the incident at about 12.50pm.
The fire was extinguished by SCDF using two water jets.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
