Recently divorced DJ Glenn Ong offhandedly reveals he was 'unhappily married' to Jean Danker in weight loss post
They were married for eight years.
On Christmas Eve 2024, radio DJs Glenn Ong and Jean Danker annouced on social media they had "mutually decided to part ways".
Half a year later, Ong revealed for the first time that the marriage was not a happy one - in, of all places, the middle of a social media post about losing weight.
Sharing a mirror selfie of himself wearing a sleeveless top in a gym, he posted on June 18: "Today marks my two years of training twice to three times weekly with Aziz.
"From an unhealthy 84kg when I was unhappily married to a crazy happy 73kg now!"
Two years earlier, he was still married to Danker.
About a week before Ong's offhand revelation about their unhappy marriage, Danker had revealed on social media that since their split, she had "exclusively been asked out by much younger guys" in their 20s,
"They've been lovely," added the 46-year-old.
She was Ong's third wife. His earlier marriages were to the late Kate Reyes and then Jamie Yeo, both former radio DJs.
Speaking to The Straits Times in April about his break-up with Danker, Ong said: "As sad as I feel about what has happened, we're still amicable."
The SPH Radio Kiss92 DJ, who will turn 55 on June 22, added: "I'm not looking to move on to another serious relationship because I feel I've never had time for myself.
"I've never not been in a relationship."
