Private bus blocks road at Jurong East pick-up point, driver ignores people asking him to move
A private bus operator refused to give way to other vehicles amid heavy traffic at Venture Drive in Jurong East.
Stomper Akanksha shared photos of the stationary vehicles at a pick-up point on May 28.
"The road has been facing heavy traffic mismanagement from 6.30am to 7.30am due to company buses," said Akanksha.
"This bus driver thought he owned the road and blocked the two lanes for other vehicles. He decided not to move, despite continuous honking and passersby asking him to move forward since there was enough space.
"He even shooed away a poor guy who politely asked him to move forward as he was unnecessarily blocking lanes."
A photo shows the bus in the middle of the road with other buses behind it.
The Stomper remarked: "I'm not sure if bus operators care about this, but such nuisances should not be allowed to work."
