Power outage at Spottiswoode Park Road block leaves residents in the dark for over an hour
Residents of Block 109 Spottiswoode Park Road were hit by a power outage on Sept 23.
Stomper Law, a resident, alerted Stomp to the blackout at about 10.47pm.
In response to a Stomp query, Tanjong Pagar Town Council said its property team had responded to the incident at around 10.35pm.
"Our electricians and lift technicians were activated right away," a town council spokesperson said.
"The electricians worked to trace the cause, while our lift team checked all lifts to ensure no one was trapped."
The town council added that its adviser Mr Foo Cexiang was also on site to provide support to the affected families.
"Preliminary checks showed an issue with incoming supply so SP Services was contacted immediately and power supply was restored at about 11:53pm," the spokesperson said.
"The cause of the outage is still being investigated by SP Services.
"We thank our residents for their patience and understanding during this disruption."
