PMD catches fire at pedestrian walkway opposite Tampines Mall
A personal mobility device (PMD) burst into flames along Tampines Avenue 4 on Feb 3.
Stomper Caelan alerted Stomp to the incident and shared videos he took of the device on fire along a pedestrian walkway, opposite Tampines Mall.
Later, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers are at the scene extinguishing the fire.
In response to a Stomp query, the SCDF said they were alerted to the fire at 11.15pm.
"SCDF extinguished the fire using a hose reel," an SCDF spokesperson said.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
