People's Park Complex stall suspended for 4 weeks, foodcourt where it's located is not: SFA
Shu Du Fan Dian, a Szechuan food stall at 1 Park Road, #01-100 in People's Park Complex, was suspended by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for four weeks starting from July 23 until Aug 19.
So Stomper Derek was surprised to see that Shu Du Fan Dian appeared to be open on a day within that period.
"I would like to highlight that this particular food stall has not suspended operation and is still operating as of July 28," said the Stomper, who shared photos of diners in the eatery.

"They are still serving food ordered from their 'Shu Du Fan Dian' menu with their own dinnerware and cutlery."
When Stomp visited the location on Aug 2 afternoon, the eatery had several customers and provided menus with the "Shu Du Fan Dian" name on the cover.

Stomp had reported on July 28 that the stall had been suspended after accumulating 12 demerit points within a 12-month period and was also fined a total of $800 for failing to register two assistants.
So was Shu Du Fan Dian suspended or not?
In response to a Stomp query, SFA said: "Only the food stall is suspended. The foodcourt where the stall is located in is not suspended."
It added: "Food safety is a joint responsibility. While SFA puts in place and enforces the regulatory measures, food operators must play their part by adhering to good food safety practices. SFA will not hesitate to take enforcement action against errant food operators.
"Members of the public with concerns about food safety practices by food operators should report to SFA via the online feedback form (www.sfa.gov.sg/feedback). As part of the enquiry and gathering of evidence, SFA may engage the feedback provider for more details and will not hesitate to take enforcement action if sufficient evidence has been obtained."
Reacting to SFA's response, the Stomper said: "The entire foodcourt has only one food stall."
