Pedestrians forced to jump out of the way of reckless driver who beat red light
Stomper Ray witnessed an incident which pedestrians were nearly hit by a car due to reckless driving at the junction of Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 and Jalan Tenaga.
The footage captured by the Stomper's car camera posted on Beh Chia Lor - Facebook's page shows a car beating the red light, causing the pedestrians who were crossing the roads to be nearly knocked down.
A lady wearing a patterned dress was the closest to getting knocked over by the car. Thanks to her fast reaction, she managed to jump back onto the pavement in time.
Fortunately, people crossing the road were not on their phones and were alert of the oncoming car.
Said Ray:
"The car driver then went on to beat two more traffic lights at Kaki Bukit Road 1 and Eunos Link.
"We should concentrate on roads.
"Pedestrian need to be less on mobile phone."
