What goes around, comes around - including kindness.

Stomper Jessie was pleasantly surprised to receive Chinese New Year goodies from her Grab driver on Feb 4. The date marks the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, also known as Renri and the day human beings were created.

Jessie said: "I want to give a shoutout to the Grab driver who drove me from Tiong Bahru to Chinatown Point! As I was about to alight, he took a packet of oranges, some Hacks sweets and another orange-looking sweet to wish me Happy Chinese New Year on Renri, which is everyone's birthday.

"His gesture was really sweet and caught me by surprise.

"Mohammad Mohaimin, thank you for your kind act that really brightened up my evening after a day of work!"

Jessie tipped the driver $8.88 "for prosperity," she told Stomp.

Expressing gratitude for our multi-racial society, the Stomper added: "It's so nice for a Malay driver to do this for us during Chinese New Year.

"Grab should reward this driver for the kind gesture he has shown! I hope Stomp can help to give him a shoutout too."
