Part of false ceiling falls in CCK coffee shop, nearly hits Stomper enjoying mookata: 'Food wasted'
He was eating at the time.
A part of the false ceiling fell in a Choa Chu Kang coffee shop, nearly hitting a diner on March 25.
Stomper Kelvin shared photos of a large square hole in the ceiling of the 7 Stars Coffee Shop at Block 810 Choa Chu Kang Avenue 7.
Pieces of the ceiling can be seen on the floor and a table under the hole.

"It nearly hit us," said the Stomper, who was at a table next to the debris.
"My mookata meal was affected by the ceiling dust. All the food was wasted and thrown away,
"However, the coffee shop didn't show us the courtesy of giving us a refund."
He had bought his food from a stall called Jub Jub Mookata.
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Jub Jub Mookata said: "We are very concerned about the incident and have already communicated with the coffee shop management to ensure the safety of all customers.
"I want to clarify that our employees did approach the affected customer and offered to replace their food with fresh items due to concerns about potential contamination.
"All food items were replaced accordingly."
The Stomper disputed this.
He said: "No one proposed to replace the food for me. I paid to buy a second round for my table."
Update:
After the article was published, Stomp received this email from an anonymous source: "Hi all, I would like to address the situation.
"Stomper Kelvin was 80 per cent to 90 per cent done with his food when the ceiling fell and expected a full refund.
"The only reason why he had to pay for a second round for his table was because he added on food and had nothing to do with the fact that he wanted to replace his food that had been contaminated with the dust from the ceiling parts.
"When he told the stall owner that he would like to replace his bowls, et cetera. due to the dust, they did so without hesitation."
