Pandamart user unable to get refund for spoilt peaches 'with black spots all over'
It was not a peachy day for a woman who received rotting fruit in her Pandamart order.
Stomper Shijia said she ordered 500g of white peaches from the grocery delivery service on July 12. They cost $7.30 and her total order amounted to $67.24.
However, she was dismayed when she received the fruits as they appeared to be spoilt "with black spots all over".
Shijia told Stomp: "I wrote in to Foodpanda's help centre to request a refund, but they just kept saying they had given me the best resolution (which is to not refund me).
"They kept repeating themselves like a bot without explaining to me why the refund was rejected, and only kept saying it was due to system limitations.
"So this is how they do business? Deliver spoilt food and refuse to acknowledge their mistake, and just brush people off by saying unable to refund and this is the best resolution?"
The Stomper said she had previously ordered other fruits from Pandamart that were delivered in "bad condition" too, but was able to get a refund.
Shijia added: "However, this time, the condition of the peaches seem to be the worst. I sent in multiple pictures but they refused to refund.
"Never gonna order from Foodpanda again."
