Owner of Tesla parked at VivoCity gets note after hit-and-run: 'Your car was damaged by white Porsche'
A man parked his Tesla in the VivoCity carpark on Jan 12 and when he returned, he found his car's right front bumper damaged.
Stomper Jackie had been the victim of a hit-and-run.
He also found a note on his car windshield and it was not from the driver who hit his car.
The note read: "Your car was damaged by white Porsche."
The writer of the note also asked the Stomper to contact him to get a video of the hit-and-run.
"The kind driver emailed me after I contacted him," said the Stomper, who shared dashcam footage from both the driver who left the note as well as from the Stomper's own car.
The video shows the white Porsche about to leave the lot next to the Stomper's car, but then the Porsche stopped and reversed a bit before moving forward again.
After leaving the parking lot, the Porsche stopped again and a young man in a white T-shirt and dark shorts got out to look at the right front bumper of the Stomper' car before returning to the Porsche and driving off.
The driver who left the note then drove forward in the video and a black mark can be seen on the right front bumper of the Stomper's white Tesla.
"If not for this video, the young and irresponsible hit-and-run driver would just get away with it," said the Stomper.
"I understand from the workshop that the Porsche driver still has yet to report to his insurer. Now I cannot repair my car due to this."
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a report was lodged and added that investigations are ongoing.
