Otters frolicking in sand and sea: Stompers catch adorable sightings from Labrador Park to Changi Beach
Singapore's otters continue to charm the public with their playful antics.
This time, they were recently spotted at Labrador Park and Changi Beach.
Stomper Tobey shared a delightful video of an otter family rolling about in the sand along the boardwalk between Reflections at Keppel Bay and Labrador Park on April 15.
"One of the otters looked like it was teaching the babies to roll over," said Tobey.
Meanwhile, Stomper Vimal also had a close encounter with otters at Changi Beach.
He spotted a family on March 21 and was thrilled to catch them enjoying a fresh fish breakfast in the water.
"This is the first time I've seen otters this close," he said.
"It's a rare sight for me to see one eating a fish."
A social animal, the otter lives either in pairs or family groups.
While listed as endangered in Singapore, smooth-coated otters can be regularly seen across the main waterways, as well as in our nature spaces.
