Hence, Stomper Steven's feedback feels like a breath of fresh air.
Steven shared his value-for-money lunch at Hillion Mall's Kopitiam food court on May 28. The meal of one meat and two vegetables without rice cost only $3.69 after a 10% discount via the FairPrice app.
Steven said: "While nearly every post on Stomp complains about overcharging and expensive food, here's one for a change.
"At this food court, three items without rice - sweet sour pork, brinjal and bitter gourd - cost only $3.69.
"I wouldn't get this price at a coffee shop's cai png stall.
"I will return as a regular customer."
