A Nissan knocked a delivery rider off his motorcycle while making an illegal U-turn at Science Park Drive.

Stomper Plup witnessed the incident and shared a video of the incident that happened on July 18 at about 4.30pm.

"The car, which appeared to be a blue Nissan Serena, was attempting an illegal U-turn across two lanes and ended up knocking down the rider," he said.

Fortunately, the rider, who had a Foodpanda delivery bag attached to the back of his bike, did not seem to be seriously injured.

However, Plup noticed his motorcycle was slightly damaged.

"The car driver did not appear to be apologetic at all and was arguing with the motorcyclist," said the Stomper.

Plup told Stomp that he and his wife stopped to check on the rider and offered to share their dashcam footage of the incident, but the motorcyclist declined.

"Frankly, this incident was very dangerous, and I think the public should be made aware," he said.

"I felt that it was very fortunate that nobody was seriously hurt but drivers on the road need to be more careful and considerate.

"They should not be driving in such a reckless and entitled manner."

Stomp understands that the police were not alerted to the incident.
