She wants help.

A Jurong West resident is suffering from depression because of her next-door neighbour.

Stomper R said she has been living there for more than four years and the problem persists.

"Every day, it's the same problem, not peaceful at all," she said. "I've kept quiet all this while but still there is no changes."

She recounted an incident on Feb 17 afternoon when she was leaving her flat to fetch her children from school.

"I saw my neighbour outside his unit," said the Stomper. "He purposely waited for me and took a video of me.

"While I was walking away, he said this on the video I sent to you."

In the video, a man can be heard saying repeatedly: "You disturb me, I disturb back. I not scared."

He also said: "You find trouble, I find trouble."

She shared a photo of a man standing outside his flat with a phone and wearing what appeared to be a pink and grey Foodpanda T-shirt.

The Stomper said: "I didn't make any trouble or disturb him, but he is disturbing me and my kids."

She recounted another incident that took place on Feb 20.

"My kids were leaving for school and his gate was open," said the Stomper. "He was whistling as he came out and watched my kids.

"What was his intention? Why must he look at my kids while they were putting on their shoes? This was him purposely making trouble, right?

"After my kids left, he followed behind them. I feel so pissed off. No peace at all. I'm very angry with him."

The Stomper added that she has reported the man to the town council and the police "so many times", but nothing changed.

"The man said he is not scared of the police. I'm living a miserable life here," she told Stomp.

"I can't tolerate it anymore. I'm going through depression because of him. I have no peace living here. I hope you can help me."

In response to a Stomp query, a West Coast Town Council spokesperson said: "We empathise with the resident's situation and appreciate her efforts in seeking help.

"However, we would like to clarify that this matter falls outside the town council's jurisdiction.

"We recommend that the resident seeks assistance from her Resident Network to facilitate a resolution through the Community Mediation Centre (CMC). The CMC is better equipped to handle such disputes and work towards a mutually acceptable solution.

"We encourage residents to seek help through the appropriate channels to resolve disputes and ensure a peaceful living environment."
