Mystery film shoot in Hougang warms Stomper's heart
A film crew was spotted at work between Blocks 446 and 449 at Hougang Avenue 8 on May 31.
Stomper Lau Lup sent video footage to Stomp of the crew filming at a playground.
In the video, large cameras can be seen recording what seems to be an interview-style shot.
Lau Lup was warmed by the shoot, as he believes that the shoot creates an inclusive environment for people from different backgrounds.
He told Stomp: "I assume that it's a government platform to encourage residents to mingle and create a more cohesive culture. Perhaps to revive the kampung spirit of the past."
"I hope to see more of such activities in the neighbourhood. It's meaningful and increases the quality of life among residents, both young and old."
