She is going into labour anytime soon.

Yet, no one offered her a seat on the North-South Line.

Stomper Lim said she boarded the train at Orchard MRT station at around 7.15pm on July 9, but had to stand all the way until Ang Mo Kio MRT station.

That is seven stops and 14 minutes apart.

Lim, who is 37 weeks pregnant, said: "My cousin was with me, so she carried one of my work bags while I held on to the pole for support.

"It was only when a man got up at Ang Mo Kio that I could sit. A woman in blue and some others saw me, but went back to their phones."

The Stomper shared a video of her visibly big belly and the row of commuters seated before her. Most appeared to be using their mobile devices.

Lim did not approach anyone for a seat, but noted that this is a common occurrence.

She told Stomp: "I just feel disgusted because they are all young and healthy, but show no sign of even giving up their seats.

"It's not the first time. I am heavily pregnant, but it's still manageable. I can't imagine what it's like for those mummies who are swelling and badly needing a seat."
